Apps We Love ♥
Hello! What's Appening?
Sorry about that, folks.
I'll try to make it up to you by sharing the Apps we use everyday. They make us healthier, more productive and dare I say - happier!? Yeah - you could DEFINITELY say that. 🙂
Ready? Ok, here we go!
Productivity
Todoist - Todo List Task Manager
My life used to be a mess before I learned the Getting Things Done method. I eventually found out about Todoist and now I can't live without it. I use it at least once every hour.
Evernote - Capture what's on your mind
Evernote is the best note taking and idea saver app we've found. You can create notebooks and notes to write down (and organize) every idea or thought you have. For people with bad memory (that's me!), this is a Godsend.
1Password - Keep all your passwords secure and in one place
You, like me, probably have dozens of passwords, am I right? It's really tough to keep track of all of them! Not anymore. You'll never have to click on the annoying "forgot your password" link again. With 1Password, you'll only have to remember One Master Password and then you'll have access to a list of all your other passwords.
Dropbox - Keep all your files safe
Dropbox allows you to keep ALL your files updated and safe. Consider it your virtual hard drive. This means that you´ll never lose another file. If you don´t have it yet - you need to stop what you´re doing and get it RIGHT NOW. Trust me! You´ll thank me later.
Music
Spotify - Music for everybody
Music is a HUGE part of my life. I listen to it while I work. I listen to it while I workout. I even listen to it when I'm... OK, better stop there. My point is it makes me more productive at work and makes my workouts more intense. It generally makes my life more agreeable. And with Spotify I can listen to ready-made playlists or make my own. It's also an awesome place to discover new music.
SoundCloud - All the best DJ sets
Think of it like Instagram for Music. You follow your favorite artists or DJs and you see what they are posting and who they are following. Not only will they post their original tunes, they'll also re-post some of the stuff that they enjoy. So, it's the best place to discover new sets and save your favorite ones. Soundcloud has fueled many parties!
Learning
Blinkist - Book Summaries
Ever wish like you could read 10 books in 10 minutes? Now you can. Blinkist features 1,500+ best-selling nonfiction books, transformed into powerful shorts you can read or listen to in just 15 minutes.
Audible - Books on Tape
You know that NYT bestseller you've been dying to read? Why not listen to it on the your commute to work? Or when you're busting out sweat at the gym. By using the Audible app, I've found that I can listen to an average of two extra books a month. That's a lot of new knowledge that's going into my brain.
Health
Zero App - Fasting
I've really enjoyed experimenting with Intermittent Fasting (I.T.). A lot of research has indicated that it is a great way to lose weight and keep healthy. The ZeroApp is the best app I've found for tracking and keeping the habit of I.T. You can choose from different pre-recorded fasting techniques or customize your program. Its simple (and beautiful) interface is a plus!
